The Invisalign Process
Invisalign® offers an almost invisible aligning system that straightens teeth fast and contains no metal.
Invisalign® treatment consists of a series of custom-made aligning trays. The dentist changes the trays every several weeks to fit the new tooth configuration. In addition to the reduced visual impact, Invisalign® aligning trays can be temporarily removed for important occasions – meaning that treatment duration is patient-controlled. A great number of people report complete satisfaction with both the Invisalign® treatment and the stunning results.

Advantages of Invisalign® Over Braces and Veneers
Traditional dental braces, Invisalign® aligning trays, and dental veneers are three different ways to perfect the alignment of the teeth. There are many different considerations to make when deciding which treatment will be best, and each of these options works better in certain situations.
Invisalign® is preferable to veneers in many cases because unlike veneers, Invisalign® actually straightens the teeth. Veneers are thin covers that the dentist permanently affixes to the teeth. Teeth must be etched beforehand, meaning that to remove dental veneers, an alternative covering must be constructed. In addition to being somewhat expensive, veneers can break and often last for less than 20 years.

Invisalign® corrects many orthodontic issues without the hassles of traditional braces. Because the aligners used in the Invisalign® treatment process are removable, you can eat the foods you love to eat (steak, corn and bubble-gum don't mix well with traditional braces). Additionally, when you need to brush and floss, you don't have to buy special tooth brushes and flossers designed to fit between the wires and brackets of braces. How Long Does the Invisalign® Treatment Take?
As with every dental procedure, the current condition of your teeth will play a role in determining just how long treatment will take.
For best results, we recommend you wear your Invisalign® aligners for 20-22 hours per day throughout the entire treatment process. In most cases, adults can experience full treatment and a straight smile in as little as one year. For teens, the length of treatment is comparable to that of traditional braces.
The total time you wear your Invisalign® aligners will seem to fly by since you will be able to see your smile literally transform every time you change to the next set of aligners.
How Affordable is Invisalign?
The total cost of Invisalign® treatment is similar to that of traditional braces. Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign® treatment just as they would with regular metal braces. Every unique case has many different factors that can all affect total treatment cost so it's extremely difficult to put a price tag on custom treatment plans.
